what pre flop percentage am i looking to play
and how come i got a 20 percent but if i limp im not getting pot odds
its like red 40 percent

ok say i got 27% win odds but the pot odds are 33% and theres 4 players

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you asking if you have the odds to call if you're 27% to improve and you have 33% equity)? Could be a language barrier here. Could you post the hand?

This is an individual decision each player has to make. I was privvy to a conversation between Greg Raymer and Dennis Phillips on this very thing. Greg likes to ask players what their cut off is using the scenario of all-in on the first hand at wsop Main Event. Apparently he has gotten a spectrum of answers.
My arbitrary cut-off is pretty high - 63 %. About what Phillips is. Raymer is more of a gambler, jumping at 51%.

This is oversimplified - there are more factors...

But - what is your experience level? What $ level are you playing?

I am going to take a stab and say you definitely need to be under 20% VPiP, and more likely under 15%. I was profitable month to month in low stake tourney's and was running about 13-16% (but you need to understand that the first 1/3 of a tourney I'd be at about 6-8% and open it up more as it went deeper).

I don't Hold'em Indicator...Try Tournament Indicator ......Stud Indicator is the sh*t and has saved my life a couple of times..... Omaha Indicator also is worth mentioning...
