re: Poker & how much should i deposit for my new pokerstars bankroll?
I say if you cannot make $10 last you a month then you shouldnt be playing.
Why not build your bankroll instead of "adding it".
I suppose it depends on how much you can afford to lose. My goal has been mainly to improve my game which I find comes best in tournament play. The rif raf are all gone halfway through, and you get some decent games.
You obviously have some skills, so why not hone them playing games you can afford to lose. I am not saying that as an insult. I've had paydays like $240 for the $4 SNG, and won tickets in hubble, etc.
Twice I've turned hubble tickets into real money
and got it up over $10. So I got $10 BR starting from a freeroll. (sleeveless j on PS).
I guess my point is that no matter what my BR is I am in the money at least 12% of the time according to stats (old stats soon). I still end up needing to reinvest once in a while. I think you need to be able to turn $10 into $100 before you can turn $100 into $1000.
So in my opinion start with $10/month.
1 trick I use to curb losing is that if I don't make a bubble I cannot play anymore RM tourneys that day. I have a bad habit of playing a $3.50 SNG to recoup my loss from a $1 SNG.
Good luck anyways, and rem. I am addressing this comment also at anyone who is wanting to have BR on ps.
