Most poker rooms, for tournaments, will go by TDA (Tournament Directors Association) - some people get confused thinking these are rules for cash games - THEY ARE NOT
Some poker rooms will abide by WSOP
rules - I have them or a link to them if you want a copy
Some smaller rooms will go by Roberts Rules Of Poker - a kinder gentler book of rules - not so harsh on a few things
will start with WSOP and TDA rules and probably make a few changes to fit their own needs.
The rooms I run use a mix of Roberts Rules and TDA, if anything else comes up not covered we go to WSOP
Roberts Rules Of Poker and TDA can both be found online, WSOP lists theirs but only through a link I wont share publicly (though I am sure someone else has) - there are also copies of WSOP rules floating around I am sure, but they change every year so make sure you have updated rules.
