re: Poker & What to do when we think there is no way?
Been there - a lot! Take a break for sure. I would also recommend taking some time to just watch other online games at your stakes level. Find the players who are consistently winning and watch what they do. It's almost guaranteed that you'll find they play very few hands, and actually take very few risks. They will limp in with mediocre hands at times, but they won't put much more money in to the pot unless they hit a good flop.
Without memorizing odds
tables, be aware that draws are just that - draws. They have no actual value YET, so do not put more than the minimum into a pot chasing a real nice looking flush or open-ended straight DRAW.
If haven't already - set yourself a daily limit and stick to it. If things are not working out for you, then quit for the day when you hit that limit. If you're playing at a higher buy-in/stakes than the minimum, drop down one or more levels.
There will be many hills and valleys (mostly the latter) in your pursuit of fame and fortune in this game.
