Illustrated Guide to Texas Holdem (Dennis Purdy)

It has a good breakdown of solid play, and gives you examples with solutions to practice on.

Hi!
I'm trying to read now "Doyle Brunson's. Super System. A course in power poker" on Rus language. Still difficult, given the translation from English :)

I have never read a poker book, the most I have read are the advice from when the poker school of pokerstars existed, there I read everything related to poker, plays, forms of poker and others. But I have heard that Super System is one of the best poker books out there.

Harrington on Holdem is good. I think there are two or three in the series.

And of course as mentioned Super System.

Strategy - Excelling at No Limit Hold'em by Jonathan Little
(This was kind of like the modern day super system)

Lifestyle - Ace on the River by Barry Greestein

Entertainment & Motivation - Tie between Poker Brat and Life's a Gamble

For strategy also anything by Ed Miller, Matthew Janda or Michael Acevedo are great!

Kidd poker

Hi, a very important book to improve my game is "The power of strategy" of one of the best players in the world, the great Daniel Negranu. If you did not read it, I really recommend it
