Suited Aces can be raised from any position, but don't assume top pair will be any good in a tight game. In a loose game though, any top pair is very frequently good plus you have 3 outs to improve to a better hand (and a few more to chop) when it isn't. That's very read dependent though, so don't start bombing flops with kickerless Aces unless you're sure Villain is capable of having a worse Ace or second pair.
Any Ace plays well as bluffing hand also, because it blocks a certain amount of strong hands out there. If you have A6, then there are 27 combos of AQ+/AA rather than 38, which gives your 4bets significant fold equity. Just remember that when Villain plays at you you're frequently beat and should give up.
