LOL, thanks. That is what I intend for people to think of. I came up with this signature a couple years ago.
We used to have a weekly tournament, at this guy's house. It usually had 20-30 guys playing in it. It was a great game. Anyway, one night I was playing at one table and my step-brother was on the other table. I raised pre-flop and shoved the flop (with TT on a J-high flop -- it was a very fast blind structure). As soon as I announce, "All-in." I hear a quick call.
I figured I was screwed, until I realized it had come from behind me and in my step-brother's voice. I turn around and he's sitting in his chair, not in a hand at his table, and trying to see what the board was on our table. The other guy ended up calling (with A-K), because of how sick I looked when I thought he called, and I held up to win.
About 20 minutes later, one player raised pre-flop and 4 people called behind him. He loudly complains, "how much do I need to raise to get people to respect my raises here?"
I put on my best Rodney Dangerfield voice, "You think you get no respect? I get no respect. When I move all-in, people from the other table call."
Ever since that time, I've always thought about that when I hear people complain about bets and raises not being respected enough at their limit.
