Hello everybody!
After I lost my bankroll again... I was thinking about the reason I did it and it was simple - I got angry and lost control of my actions... I was wondering if any of you had or have the same leak and how do you deal with it ?

If I feel myself starting to get too emotional about the game I take a step back and do something else(preferably with less of a luck factor) until it passes.

At least you found out that your Leak was Tilt and Anger and there are a lot of articles that will help you overcome the Tilt my problem is that I can not find my leaks and I don't even know how I would work on them.May be I need a coach because even If I am reviweing my hands history when I loose I can not find where I made the mistake or what bad decision I took to end up busted or bankrupted.

Dont avoid tilt, embrace it. Dive right into it. Lose more control, lose more hands and lose more money. In doing so, after a while you will have lost so much, that you will now be desensitized to the losses and tilt wont affect you. Or you could just get up and walk away.

Applying a proper bankroll management keeps you away from a ton of emotion caused by either one session badbeats /coolers or the downstreak. Bankroll management and having an idea of how your schedule for today will look like before sitting at the tables and then following this schedule. Accept the fact that it's ok to finish the day with a negative result.

I have identified this leak in myself as well. Step 1 is accepting (really accepting) that there is nothing fare about poker. You can be playing for hours impeccably well put your money in and get called by someone with a 6% shot at winning and they win. When that happens and it fails to phase you then I think you are likely not to tilt.

Past two weeks I kept getting knocked out with better cards and money in to hands and seemed like the system was against me. This weekend it seemed to shift. Main thing is to play consistent. As it "should" equal out in the long run

I suggest you to watch hands reviews from poker pros or watch how they play...

Thx for the answer but I think I need the Pros to watch my hands and to tell me where I made mistakes I have been watching all Pros on twitch and reading alot of poker hands analysis on différent sites. Copy cat Pros Will not help us improve it's deep understanding of how they play with their thought processus that helps better.

You will have the nut flush and the river will pair the board and you will get beat by a boat. the guy that beats you probably called a bet pre-flop and on the turn with his 57off, and caught runner runner to beat you. Frustrating as all get out.

Now, is there ANYTHING you could have done differently? If you played the best way possible, then that should be your focus. This would keep you focused on the process, not the results.

Easy to say, harder to do.

Advice on this.. I would find someone that is just over your level and just under your level. That play the same games, rooms, and stakes as you. Have them review your play and offer advice. If you play online there are numerous recording softwares that are free and easy to use. Don't go to someone that is WAY above you because they probably don't play the same stakes and are up against completely different competition but rather with like minded individuals. Best of luck.

So I am not saying you are wrong or that you or OP are not at a top tier level but just simply offering another way too look at this. Say you are a brand new or middle of the road football coach and you are at a party where they are honoring some of the leagues best coaches. All the coaches are there NFL down to middle school. Most people would probably want to talk too and get advice from the NFL coach.

Imagine that coach handed over his playbook to you. Now imagine you go back to your high school or middle school football team and show them the playbook, and have them run the plays. they will not be able to execute the plays and will lose.

Point of this is you will learn better when you can accept the information given to you and understand it and apply it properly. rather than watching pro's and doing what they do start with like minded individuals as you and work your way up to where you can understand the information given and apply it properly.

defiantly start taking more time in these situations. always use all your time on river calls.this is where most tilt costs us money.

Sounds great I think that was one of my initial goals after watching one of BENCB vidéos about searching for friends who share the same Poker Goals and ambitions and also one of the reasons to join many poker forums like hère in Cardschat or on chat on chat on twitch when watching L'ex,Turbo king or Kmartin but till now I am bad at creating and mainting à poker focused discussions. Tilt Control is the subject and as Far as I know it shoulf start by Recognizing the moments of such émotions, Deep breath Reassess situation, calm down revenge feeling wich could ruin you,if it's à badbeat just smile and say high variance and Karma are experiencig me,never look after players who took half your stack they could take the second half. Vary and change your style if you wasted lot of blinds to à pair of kings and that lucky bztrd got the miraculous River set him à trap on on other one. Reading some Maths and Tilt management articles Will help
My magic Calm Down words are Off course hé Will hit the River or way to shower.

I agree about your tilt help. My reply at the time was to help you because you posted saying that you couldn't find what your leaks were. The advice I posted was meant to help you find your leaks. If you record your sessions and let like minded individuals review them you will be surprised with what they find

My point there is to find Pros who do good commentary . Explaining situations, positions, ranges type of players and how they play against each type - and all this is happening in real time in tournaments or whatever you play. I don't think it's that big of a deal if the level is much higher. The point is to understand how to these people think during session and what are their bullet points in different situations. A lot of their strategies may not work against players on your level but this doesn't matter. I think is better to learn from people who are playing for years instead of people who doesn't even know what they're talking about. Improving your thinking is the main plus. And it's a great alternative when you don't have any friends who play poker.

You are missing the point here. You should study and work with people at your level and slightly above it, for the reasons that I listed already. My game jumped leaps and bounds when I stopped worrying about how certain pro's played their hand against other certain pro's and sat down with the guys playing at my local casino in the games that I'm constantly playing in. We studied each others play and the people that we played against on a constant basis and were able to help each other way more than any pro could. I feel it is a massive leak a lot of losing players have taking information and trying to apply it to there game without truly understanding the entire theory behind the logic. food for thought.

Maybe it will help if I add I also watch the videos and twitch streams, and even talk to my friends that are pro players. I understand from their level, but I am not playing those games or against those players therefore it does me no good to have that information because the players I’m playint against are not on that level.

So you don’t have any friends that play the same stakes as you? And even some friends that you can admit are slightly above you? Most people that are into Poker have a wide range of friends that also play.. like with me we have home games, leagues, the casino, online home games, group chat forums, social media groups and probably a player base of around 1000 players I talk too throughout all these different platforms.

Well start a thread on CardsChat and find people playing the same stakes as you and that are likeminded. then form there you can work out a way to do drop box video submissions of your sessions.
