Seems you might have a problem that the most viable solution would be to avoid the whole thing all together.
If not, then learn and practice BANKROLL MANAGEMENT. Without this discipline/skill set you are going to find yourself in the same situation over and over.
If you absolutely must proceed with this then commit the next 6 months to year playing only FREE poker (at least a couple times a week). Qualify for the CardsChat Freerolls and play as often as you can. Play in your local bars. If and when you reach the point that it becomes a game of skill for you (meaning you can, at minimum, calculate odds
and percentages based on various other skill sets) then you can consider playing for money.
Also, during this 6 months to year get and read (and re-read) various poker books
by the following couple of authors:
Others will recommend others, but commit to these two guys only for that initial training burst (6 months to a year) before moving on.
