I'm the worst at playing monsters!! Shoud I slowplay or bet aggressively? Example: I have KK on the button and someone opened in middle position about 2.5BB I raise to 5BB, he calls and big blind defends. So flop comes AK6 they check and I bet small 33% of the pot (I thought they must have an Ace) and they just fold. Am I doing something wrong? Why I can't trap them?

In such situation you should slow play on flop, may be on turn, but on river you must bet. This is the best way how to play with KK.

When I get these monstrous hands, I actually plays very calmly and attention, I think the odds, the chances of the opponent has a better hand than mine, among other things.

I would have played the hand very similarly. Definitely would have raised pre-flop. I might have checked on the flop but seeing how your hand played out, it just would have given the other players an extra card. I think you played the hand correctly.

Everything is done correctly. The opponent was not an ace. If we do not raise the flop as well, check and entice you can get yourself in a losing situation. Usually someone comes to limp preflop with monsters fall in disadvantageous situation. It is better to raise on the flop, and avoid losses.

I might limp to make the opponent feel like I have a weak hand so he bets. Then I would call and then maybe raise on the turn or river. I don't think you played bad, the villain might have just been passive.

well, it's always situational, and you played it VERY WELL in this situation IMO ..
You will bet this flop when you don't have it too, and they definitely could had an ace .
Unfortunately they didn't this time, It happens ..

Well first of all your 3bet sizing should be at least 2.5 of his open IP and 3x OOP.
Traping someone at micros is a mistake, in this situation you should 3bet atleast 7bb, you should value bet 2/3 flop, if he have an ace king 6 or GS he wont fold, here he had TT JJ 88 that wont invest much money in the pot anyway so valuebet their brains out they will call more often than not, now they had nothing but often you will print money valuebeting those board

Not this.

OP, depends on villain to some extent.

Generally just start getting money in the middle as soon as you can. If they fold the flop doesnt mean you played it wrong. If they have an ace they will probably call down, if they have air they are not going to call later on anyway, and you will just miss value by checking.

Just avoid mashing the pot bet button everytime you have the best hand because it will be a huge tell, Mix it up a bit, but generally bet big on each street when you have the goods.

If you get a Top Pair, AA, KK, you need to bet at least 3BB, so your rise was OK. Flop AK6 depends on suited potential, if 2 of the same suit you need to shove big otherwise someone may get the Flush on the turn or river.
If they didn't pay is ok, all it means is they didn't have a A o K in their hand.
To Trap them they need to have some hand that justify their move. :kd4:

Give a check on flop if they bet then call it if they check then bet 1/2 bb on turn if they raise then reraise it or call it.. if they dont bet till reaver and your hand still stronger then bet 1/2 bb if they call it then it is sure they wont give you more chips if they reraise it then you can reraise their raise..

In this situation the check after the river is a bit better if you want to build a trap, from my point of view. After checking the flop you should bet after turn, don't let your opponent to se the river for free.

I think you played well. You were right to bet as opposed to check and give away a free card that could improve your opponent's hand.

Monsters need to play very aggressively. You can not slowplay with them, otherwise it can happen both with Negreanu

If you are playing low quality hyper freeroll, just shove it in as you don't want too many players in the hands.
