I've been playing in micro buy-ins for a good while now. I do ok. I've read a few books on poker (most where specific to online poker) , read all the strategy articles on this and other forums. Like I said, I do ok but I want to take my game to the next level. That is, I want to be profitable playing beyond 10cent 25cent or even 50cent micros.
What can you guys (&gals) recommend for a fairly experienced player who knows about odds, expected value, player habits, position etc. that wants to become better?
Is there anything I can do at this point besides learning from experience?

Bouncing ideas off of friends, various internet forums, posting, etc. etc. keep up on staying fit both physically and mentally so that you stay sharp on and off the felt. You're definitely going to have to start climbing a ladder if you want to make some money, skill level at lower levels isn't that crazy different, but you'll notice the skill increase as you work your way up.

If you have already beat 10cent 25cent or even 50cent,why not tell us your experience and strategy? That will be helpful to us greatly.Thanks.

Sounds like you're doing well already. If you really want to improve your game I think paying to have access to some of the strategy videos that are available is one of the best and fastest ways. I don't know which company to recommend for you, but there are a number of em. Do some research to see which would be good for you and get a membership.

I attribute most of my success's to playing very tight yet aggressively when I hit. Looking back at my bigger tourney wins, this was always the case. I've posted before about the importance of patience, it makes all the difference in the world. Of course I use a lot of the stuff I learned here and from books regarding betsize and playing position, trying to manipulate table image etc, taking player notes is ALWAYS important (I don't have any help from software/trackers). I fold a crazy amount of hands pre (Something on the order of 10-15% hands played of those dealt. (Is that normal?)) Folding a lot of hands post flop with fairly large pots if I don't connect (Even though it kills me, It's always worth it in the long run in a tourney if I am not sure about a particular player.)
That pretty much sums it up: Be patience, play very tight & aggressively, & be aware of the other players.
Be sure to post back about your most successful playing style.

For quite a few players I've seen over the years, learning to apply effectively what they know and learn has been a bigger hurdle than improving their level of knowledge. There isn't just one reason why and how this happens, but the more you focus on looking for appropriate situations to apply the things you've learned, the more likely you are to see those situations, to change from what you've done in the past, and thus to expand your game more rapidly.

think like that:
if you've been playing micros of 0,10...0,02 cents your bankroll should be 50x bigger than your' buying...so 0,10 x 50 your bankroll need be 5$...so if you want up to your next level your buy in need be 50x bigger than your level...
for example...
if you want to play micros of 2$ your bankroll should be 50$...
its have been right for me...
growing slowly and taking experience..

I think Bank roll management (following the 10% rule) and Self control (Not tilting) are 2 of my strongest areas. I've had several hundred on some sites and dabbled in the 1 & 2$ games but as another poster said: the players skill level generally increases as you go up and I just don't have the confidence yet to put more than 5 or 10$ into the pot on any given hand. I've been playing for around a year now basically everyday. It seems more often than not that luck trumps skill and strategy, or maybe those players getting it in with 2 10 off really know what they are doing idk

As you can see I do ok. (At least I think I do LOL) I have 30-50$ on 3 sites I never even deposited on; BCP, Carbon & BOL, thanks to Cards Chat. I had a really good run earlier this month on Bovada, I counted 13 MMT wins in a row. Wins and Loses come and go, I have periods where I win almost (Or atleast place ITM) every game I play then other times I lose nearly every game for a week or so. Stuff like I posted earlier in the Bovada free roll thread, where I get an out of position caller to a 10X re-raise (I had pocket Aces in the hijack) end up with a Full House Aces over 4's and lose to pocket 4's four of a kind. I dont really let the loses bother me, its all part of the game. Look what happened to Phil Ivey at wsop final table a few weeks back. Nobody wants to lose money at the tables but I think my ability to accept that when it happens as part of the game gives me an advantage over a person prone to tilting. What do you all think?

Look at your bankroll.....look at your numbers from what you've already won....extrapolate those winning/losing numbers to the $ table your existing bank roll will let you comfortably play(at least 100 BB as a minimum). What would you have made playing bigger stakes? I think alot of people fun play at the micro level and don't worry about losing what they consider small change as long as they are having fun. They're looking for the excitement of making the long shot hand. You will lose some but you stand to win alot more if you don't play donk at higher stakes.
