I think it is not a great idea, it is better just to do freerolls because these SnG 0,02$ and 0,01$ it is completly gambling and the chances you return money are such quite low. Just my opinion.
The chances are low in terms of winning meaningful money quickly. However, that's mainly because the stakes are small. Just winning isn't particularly hard, and it's certainly possible to win a few hundred $ or more per year. For instance, if you average just $3 per day, that's over $1k per year.
As for it being completely gambling, that's ridiculous. If you don't have a skill advantage at these levels, the reason is there when you look in the mirror. If you do have an advantage, then how can if be completely gambling?
casinos make money by having an edge. They gamble, but in a way where for every $1 they put up, their average return is more than $1. For winning poker players, it's similar. On average, for every $ you bet, you get back a bit more. The main difference is that the casino's edge comes from the way the games and their payouts are structured while the poker players' comes from being better than their opponents.
