I was play a live game with prize pool of $25k and 40 players left from 186.

The blinds 10k 20 k and with 130k in my stack.

I was in middle position with pocket 7's.

I went all in got called by A Ko. Of course I lost and did not sleep well because I was reworking teh hand all night.

Should I have folded, called or moved all in?

With 6.5 BB, that's definitively a shove. You didn't give much information about the positions and what other players might have done before you, but shoving was the only good choice you had with that stack.

If you are losing sleep over a very basic play and outcome: You need to study the game more, and/or play in stakes that dont affect you like this.

Its a well played hand with an unfortunate result, that is a very normal poker hand. :)

That's poker. Best move given your stack size. If you waited for another hand it may have never come resulting in you busting with something worse. Blinds and antes will eat you up at this level so shove was the right play.

Man you are way ahead from many hands here, The push is more than standard with 7bbs, they only call you with premium hands here. Ok he woke up with AK that may happens.Seriously GG and let's move on the next game :)

Yeah it's a standard shove with your stack size. You were a favourite preflop but got unlucky. that's poker. Don't lose sleep over it! Sometimes you'll have AK vs AQ and lose, or 77 vs 22 and lose. Variance is part of poker. Embrace it, and you won't feel so bad next time.

If you ask such a question then you should learn push/fold chart for MTT's. In your sitution, it's an obvious shove. Don't worry about it, you did everything just right. Next time lucky!

I think that you should go all in pre flop the way you did.All in pre flop with pocket´s seven is a good choice, but unfortunately the AK won this time. But sometimes you will win with pocket´s seven .

Well you had less than 10 BB's, I don't think shoving pocket 7's here is terrible. In fact it's probably considered the correct play.

Sometimes in tourneys you have to win the flips!

77 Middle position

Any call could result in a loss because an over pair or two high cards can result in a loss.

The players making comments are saying shove is the right play.

I think middle position is risky - since short stack looking desperate - inviting a call.

Late position is definite shove but middle is questionable.

Unfortunately in poker these situations happen.

In poker tourneys you will have to put your tournament life in risk several times in order to win. And that time you was slightly ahead:

77 (55,3%) x AKo (44,7%)

You did right I see. Few big blinds a pair, good decision on trying to double. Sometimes the cards goes the other way. But you did ok.
Next time try to move all in when you have 13 big blinds. Don´t let down to less than 7.
Cheers,
M.D.

in my opinion you were right but you shouldn't lose sleep over something like that.

Your only play there with about 7 bb left is to go all in. If you were to wait for a better hand, you may never get it and get blinded out. I probably wouldn’t call an all in with that but if no action until you, I’m going all in.
