I think your sizing was way too small here, definitely. You made 900 to call into a 3720 pot, less than 1-4, you made a profitable call for him with ATC (AQs holds 65% equity against a random hand, you gave him 10% free equity plus implied odds
). You gave him much better odds to call your ace high than you should.
Let's say you flatted this pre flop and nobody else called behind (not even the UTG). Pot would be 2820, with you having ~8.5k chips behind. Pot was way too juiced up after a limp and a slight oversized raise he made pre flop. You failed to realize the pot geometry. This pot would end up committing your stack with any action of more than a single round of betting/calling even if you flatted your AQ and nobody else called.
In this spot, I personally contemplate either shove or flatting. I don't think my post flop game is that strong, so I'd either get everything in pre with a hand that crushes villain's range (and probably even his calling range) or play a very very very small pot post flop that I'm never concerned of crying calling/shoving because I'm pot comitted.
You played well post flop, though.
