this player calls a ton and is very passive postflop. so once he shows aggression on the flop there's nothing we can do but fold, we're not getting the direct or implied odds on a call here.

i don't mind your move, but these players are very sticky postflop, they will either fold, or they are calling/playing to the river. So once you make your move you have to respect his raise and let it go earlier, saving these 281 chips will make a huge differance in your overall game believe it or not.

fold when he check raise in the turn seems better.

yes,the callstaion with low aggressive do this Its a red flag,I was on autopilot\or probe bet at that time I recall.

Extremely spewy line by you here.

Preflop - Just fold. There's no antes and J8s isn't a very good hand. It's early and there isn't much value in iso-raising here.

Flop bet is fine, but fold to the check raise. Villain is continuing on most every turn, and the only beneficial turn card for us is a 9.

Turn is an obvious fold.
