Hmm... don't know if I'd call that or not. With no reads I'd probably call just to get the read lol.

Flop is dead, you're not wanting to give away info, but you don't get any either.

Turn is interesting, they're obviously not afraid of a K, but they're still flat calling. AK is possible, 3x is possible (even if unlikely). Any chance they're now drawing to a flush? 88 would have me worried, but I guess K8 is a possibility.

River, god knows, they either don't believe you have a strong hand, or they have a monster. The question is whether that 5x bet is a bluff to scare you off, or an overbet to tempt you to call.

Either way, you can afford to do it so I'd be calling here.

Raise on the flop - try make it look like a steal. He may even come back at you.

Turn is fine... K is a scare card. Don't want to appear too eager.

River... How often are you winning here, 75% of the time? I put him on Ace high or two pair 6-8. You could even reraise here :)

P.S. 3-way, he should have raised 66 preflop.

Two pair's what I'm thinking too loopmeister, that river bet's huge but I think he's expecting a call. 86 would be too vulnerable to the K though wouldn't it?

I wish I was good enough to lay this down. He had 6-3... hitting a 3-outer on the river.

I suppose I can just be grateful I didn't get sucked out on after putting in a big raise on the flop and playing a huge pot... and you could argue I played it OK by not giving him the right implied odds on the turn.

Personally I wouldn't be worrying about this at all. You had a good hand, trips with a strong kicker. The only hand that can beat you is a full house so I'd pay this off every time, you're going to be winning with trips more often than you're loosing. Opponent could have had an overpair, or Kx here.

Instead of worrying about the call, just make notes on your opponents betting style for the future. They were min betting here but called your raise on the turn, it's good to know that's a sign of a strong hand with them. Also worth a note that they'll re-raise big on the river with a monster.
