Good fold for sure, Dont listen to these guys. You put in enough bets there to find out where you were. Personally, I think he hit the straight, I have no doubt in my mind w that many bets on the board. If at the very least he had 10K, but he had a very low trap reraise, so i think for sure he turned the nutz. Good fold. I haven't seen how this particular person played however and thats going to reason into it way more than anything else. I think folding right there was a good choice. I think he could have easily had KQ as well, The reason for that is that you continuation bet on the flop w nothing and then he turned a higher pair, putting you on a pair of 10s on the flop, maybe even Js or Qs. So from his perspective w a low reraise he can guage where he is in the hand without risking too much, and an obvious call from him on the flop w the nut gutshot as a draw to a low pot w great implied odds
. The more i think about the fractions im gonna say he might have had KQ just to see how you acted to the check raise on the turn. This is the problem w low stakes and not knowing how the person is playing. It was either JQ or KQ. I think you can put a small 3 bet to find out exactly where you are, on the turn that is. But if he hits the straight you have no way to know it. I think if you check the flop you see the hand to the end for much less and play it much more conservatively, losing about the same as you would if you played it that way and gaining more information. I still think its a good fold. You just werent getting enough value to make the call in that situation. Gl in future events. PS stay away from low stakes online, You might as well pull the slot machine lever.
