I have never seen this before in my life at an online poker table so I thought I would run it by you guys.

I was dealt [ac][10c]

Flop came [ad][ah][as]

Just wondering how the odds were for that flop to come out. Worked for me though!

9799 - 1 or .01%

And you are nearly guaranteed to win. Keep in mind that at this point, the posibility of a royal still exists, and Only you can not improve to that royal.

If my calculation is correct your chances of hit that flop with ANY 2 cards is over 110,000 to 1.

99.9% of the time you are not getting paid off here.

I would rather bet the flop here, why? because if you are running AT then most likely you raised with it preflop right? because calling with AT is never good. So when the flop comes out something like AAA you need to continue to represent a hand like a small pocket pair. At this point this is what villian is putting you on and might make a loose call with something like KQ and then if a broadway card peels off you can check like you are scared of it.

OR

he could have a small pocketpair himself and play back at you on flop. I hardley ever slowplay hands so wouldnt it look kinda fishy if flop is AAA and I finally check?

Yeah, betting here adds a lot more deception than check/calling does. People would expect you to slow play here (if you had the ace), so you probably should bet.

Forgot to add: Unless you're up against a tight player. Then you should slow play.

Well I've had this happen before and let someone hit a fullhouse with kings and stacked them. Depends on who you're playing against and what your table image is.
