Hero bets $1.20

Logic: Lots of pairs will call a bet here, 12/6 is kinda passive so I don't think we'll induce many bluffs.

And because I like simulations: We have 58% equity against his calling range.

I can totally see an argument for checking though, so I don't think there's a big difference between the two for this opponent type.

Unless you think he'll turn hands like TT into a bluff and raise, I think you can cbet. Getting bluffed off our hand really blows though so if you think he's capable of it I like ch/calling.

His range could also be closer to something like this (18 hands doesn't say much), in which case cbetting is even more profitable: http://propokertools.com/simulation...dJd,+KdTd,+JdTd,+9dTd,+8d9d,+7d8d,+6d7d&h2=KK

It's just generally a pretty clear bet/fold situation with two aces on board vs someone who's not nuts. I usually go for two smallish streets here depending on my read. Sometimes flop/turn, other times flop, check turn, bet river.
