BB ($5)
Hero (UTG) ($6.26)
UTG+1 ($1.75)
MP1 ($3.47)
MP2 ($10.75)
CO ($9.20)
Button ($5)
SB ($14.88)
Both players are pretty unknown, note that stats were probably a bit different when hand was played, these are stats I have on them now but there is very little difference as far as VPIP/PRF goes:
SB looks like a fish: 43 / 23 / 8% 3bet over 174 hands.
BB looks decent: 14 / 10 / 3.4% 3bet over 288 hands.
This is my thinking:
1) When BB 3bets I conclude he wants to get rid of me and play with the fish while in position, so I flat with the idea of attacking (probably raise shoving) any flop with no overcards (and accept coolers from KK+ and flopped sets). Fish will call more often than not in my experience since he won't be able to fold if he has a worse pair.
2) When fish spazzes out I just and when BB folds I am a happy man and snap it off instantly since this is either AA or a worse hand, and more often the latter (he has a big stack and is probably feeling lucky ).
The problem I am having is deciding if the original flat (with the whole "attack flop" idea) is correct or not here? Lets assume I have more hands on both so stats are more reliable but not enough to know how often BB squeezes. He has to see me as decent - I do fold a lot to 3bets generally but not really much if I open from EP (since I have pretty good range there).
