SB is a fish but shoving was unexpected. UTG just calling made me feel I'm beat. Thought???

I would pay, you may be losing to 99 or TT and you are earning from everything else.

Quite hard. I disagree that we can read too much from UTG flatting, some players (usually tighter ones) are funny in that way that he can have AT, TT, QQ. I would say it’s a reflex to shove mostly with set on that scary board.

Given you need to shove 70bb and both villains are saying they beat you, I would guess fold is ok, but I see merit also calling.

I usually fold similar cases, only to see later than both villains had something very weird and relatively weak at 2NL, I can’t remember 5NL anymore lol. One argument for folding: without at least one players making mistake hero should fold? So learning to fold here can’t be bad for future games (maybe?).

A very inconvenient situation, if I find myself in such a hand, I would consider a good move, but I think that in this situation, fold is a good decision ???

There is a very similar post to this at 25nl I read yesterday.
The fact that they are calling Pre leads to mid to high pairs 88-QQ primarily.
If it was one player you fist pump call it off because fish shove Jj-Kk in this scenario but once you have to beat 2 players things change and it's more likely for one to have a set and I find a fold. Sometimes you will fold the best hand you just really have to study the stats of the players and make your best judgement. I use agg and wtsd as my guide. Passive and low wtsd = I fold.

You have to call it off. You're going to be about 25% ev in a situation like this nearly always, and you're getting somewhere over 4.5:1 to call it off.

Yeah John right as usual. I didn't lok at the math. Once you put that 29bb call in prior to the shove you are priced in.

Hey thanks guys! I almost always forget to do the math right now. Even when I'm drawing. Must put more effort into it.
So it was queen's Vs kings Vs aces. SB fish had kings. I folded on flop. SB caught a King on River. Regardless, John was right.

In a spot like that, your money goes in the middle without any reads. If UTG sinks a set here, he gets a note and next time no value. But odds are too good, especially with a fish in the hand as well.
