Hero raises to $0.12, fold, fold, SB raises to $0.40, fold, Hero calls $0.28

Flop: ($0.84, 2 players) 5 Q J
SB bets $0.70, Hero raises to $1.55, SB raises to $2.40, Hero raises to $5.88 and is all-in, SB calls $3.48

ya i figured he had an overpair when he re-raised the flop, but do i push/call? and i wouldve folded preflop except i had 3 bet him preflop a couple times so i thought he might have just been playing back at me

He's not playing back with T-high or J9. You opened UTG and he 3-bet from the SB, so his range probably has 0 bluffs and probably nothing worse than QQ/AK. If you were 400 BBs deep with him, then flatting pre could be a reasonable option.

Problem you have with this hand is you will hit a ton of flops hard enough to get stacked after you find out you have no fold equity.

As played, don't raise the flop, just call. His range is strong enough that you still have implied odds if you improve.

Fold pre.

As played I flat the flop, you have showdown value and a draw. Better hands than Jx aren't going anywere (and likely 3bet rather than flat) on a board this wet especially at 4NL. Catch bluffs vs air with your Jack and draw cheaply vs JJ+ with your flush draw. If he's bluffing he's unlikely to bet all three streets.

Was that the right move? NO

I don't know why you are playing from UTG with JT there. Fold UTG.
When you get 3Bet pre, fold.
When the flop comes like that, just call.
When you get rr, fold.

Do you ever think you are ahead anywhere in this hand? I think you are behind and make the wrong move every single time you acted in this hand. It's actually pretty funny how bad this is. Are you just messing with us?
