Villain is a unknown, have 6hands on him and he has limped one hand and folded flop.
I guess we can safely asume he isnt really good seeing how he doesnt auto reload and is playing with weird stack but is there any value in raising the river?
I dont think he is ever bluff check/raising river here but is a unknown doing this with more trips then bigger flushes, fullhouses?
So call or raise? Or is there ever a fold here?

Against an unknown, i tend to call in order to know what he does this with. That way he does not remain an unknown too long.

Strictly for value, i guess he could have trips as often as he could have a boat or a better flush. So i don't think you're making a big mistake in only calling instead of raising. Folding would be baad.

Good point, but i dont think alot of 25nl players(specialy non full stacks) are capable of folding after they c/r river so i would expect a shove/raise to be called in a vast majority of cases.

yes, but in order to call, we only need to be good 21% of the time here given pot odds, while in order to shove for a profit, we need to be good 50% of the time we are called. Even if he calls 100% of the time, it's still a big difference.

Just call. I would go with the idea of him holding a set and not putting you on the flush. Calling a 6 dollar raise will keep the pot from consuming your entire stack if you lose and if you win its still a very nice pot for 25nl

I think I'm with Belgo on this one. I'm calling and expecting to be good a vast majority of the time, especially vs what looks like a drooler who open limps the BTN.

If he is doing it with a naked ace, which i see as a huge part of his range from my small experience from 25nl, make a note and repop him next time this happens.

Folding is out of the question; I hope that's clear. And raising is... Well... I'd be much more inclined to shove the nut flush here than the 9-high flush. You're still beaten by the same boats, you still crush the same trips, but there's another couple of combos of flushes that now beat you (Kc8c, Qc8c, Jc8c, Tc8c, JcTc, etc.) I think that tips the scale towards calling instead of shoving.

Seems like every one likes calling and thats what i did, folding never entered my mind. Just whanted to know if any one raises here.
Not that it mattered but villain showed up with A8 for the FH.
Luckily he turned out to be a drooler and returned my money and then some.
If this hand would have happened 3orbits later i probably would have shipped it in against him.
