$200 NL HE Full Ring: 1/2NL: Is this a payoff spot with top set?

Unknown opponent, 1/2 Live game, doesn't seem like a very loose game so far.

Hero (CO) $250 (Ks Kh)
Villian (SB) $500

UTG limps $2
MP+1 limps $2
Hero (CO) raises to $20
Villan SB calls
BB calls
UTG FOLDS
MP+1 FOLDS

Flop comes Kc Js 10s
SB check BB check
Hero bets $45
SB calls BB folds

Turn comes 7s
SB check
Hero check

River comes Qc
SB bets $60
Hero ??????

Payoff spot here? His call on the flop I almost certainly put him on a some sort of draw. I almost certainly know he doesn't have AQ or Q9.

Possible hands he could have in my mind are A9, A10, AJ, XsXs, J10, AK, QJ, KQ, QQ, 99. But I'm leaning more towards the pair+gutshot/open ender hands. Also the spades could be another possible hand he could have.

Wat?

Oh, and pot the flop, shove the turn. You should be all in before the river comes, and you're dumb if you're not.

No h8, only <3. But seriously, when you have 3 kings and you check the turn again against a bunch of stations, I'm going to personally come beat you with a crowbar.

I think you screwed yourself on this hand. I would have thrown out a pot sized bet on the flop. On the turn I would have shoved and denied the SB the odds to call if he was on a draw. By checking you just gave him the card to complete a straight draw if he held the A, which is a good possibility. If the board is dry you can slow play top set, but with a board like that its best to shove the turn.

I'm not violently disposed, but I'd cheer C9 on here.

good check on the turn, makes sure the pot doesn't get too big with only top set. I mean, what if he flopped a straight, then you'll be behind, no-one wants that, in fact why not open fold it, just in case.
