Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q:spade: Q:diamond:
Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, CO calls 2.5 BB, BTN calls 2.5 BB, SB calls 2 BB, fold
Flop: (11 BB, 4 players) J:spade: Q:heart: 8:spade:
SB checks, Hero bets 7.7 BB, CO calls 7.7 BB, BTN calls 7.7 BB, SB raises to 49.5 BB, Hero calls 41.8 BB, CO raises to 191.6 BB and is all-in, fold, SB calls 60.95 BB, Hero
This is a really tricky scenario. First I want to ask can we fold to the SB 2 bet since its so humongous that if he has T9 then we are not getting the right price to call. But then my hand was too good so I called anyways and then the CO massive shove. Here is the speed of the hand,
The CO didn't tank before calling my C bet, the SB insta 2 bet and the CO insta 3 bet shove. Now the SB actually tanked which means he may not have T9 after all since why would he tank now as the pot has already become huge. I really felt the CO has T9 doesn't really seem like a player to shove 200 BB without a monster. But then why doesn't he raise my C bet on such a wet board?
Now I would like to know what to do if SB didn't actually call? Fold?
But now that the SB has called we are priced in to play this? But surely some of our FH outs are already compromised here.
