Think we have to call here shrog, we have two overs and 2 overpairs.

Have you any info on villian or whats his range? Maybe 89 is in his range or a a PP IMO. Although his range is pretty wide if he is off the button but do you have any stats?

I might consider 3-betting a tad bit more, we're giving him close to 2:1 odds to call our possible re-steal w/ position on us. Not sure if you had stats or a read that influenced your decision.

As played I'm peeling another card with the odds and outs.

Just to point something out, I noticed you have 4 players to your right with stacks around 50bb's deep and the players that have you covered are on your left. Usually you want the exact opposite situation unless the shorter stacks are completely terrible and the larger stacks are complete nits.

I feel like you're a decent player and probably already realize this, but sometimes it's just how the table works itself out. Just thought it might be worth pointing out.

3bet shove. Fold equity + flush outs + over outs most of the time makes this very much +EV, imo

This is a shove for sure.

As for smaller stacks on your right, I am not sure I completely agree. First you mention that unless they are bad, well of course they are they have 50BB. Plus, people with shorter stacks may be more inclined to push wider, while some 100BB stacks may worry about being pushed on if they 3bet.

Personally I love sitting to the left of 50bb stacks mostly because they suck but also because they put themselves in terrible situations OOP.

This was the line I was thinking...but wasn't sure.

standard shove.

- villain will sometimes fold.

- we have 9 clear outs and possibly 6 more if we're behind.

- villain may have silly hands like a lower flush draw or JT.

This is a shove for sure.

given that chips flow in a generally clockwise direction around the table (moreso in tournaments than cash games but it's still true of both),
all other things being equal we want bigger stacks to our right because we want position on bigger stacks. if someone has <50BB we're going to be getting into all-in situations earlier in hands thus negating our positional advantage on later streets. we want the biggest advantage over the biggest stacks because that's where the most money will come from (again all other things being equal).

But your all things being equal assumption is where I have a lot of trouble. In a tourny sure, cause it is all things being equal, but people that buy in at 50-60bb are usually terrible. Money does flow clockwise and i want the bad people on my right. Granted id rather face a fish who has 200bb than 50bb but based solely on stack sizes I am all for have fish on my right. I also think its a mistake to assume 50-60bb players are getting it in often, typically they buy in for less to limit losses and generally arent 3-4betting light and are very easy to play with. Obviously this is a generalization but I go by it until proven otherwise.

What I look at more is wanting the nits on my left and lags on my right, but I think we all agree with that.

Just a question in regards to the min-raise:

when we have no reads on a player, what are the interpretations in a 3-bet pot, or any hand for that matter?

is it usually the sign of a really weak player, a really strong hand, or something else?
