The only machine I use is the gaming desktop that I built a couple years ago. Good for anything from Minecraft to Space Engineers, Kerbal Space Program, 7 Days to Die and more. For playing poker it barely has to wake up

I am the same as everth. I go with my big MAC and play a ton of tables or just split screen and watch funny cat videos. Those are still cool right?

Personally I don't like to play on a notebook because of the limited sizes of the monitor though sometimes it is necessary. It is pleasant to play several desktops on the monitor corresponding by the sizes. You make less mistakes because of a carelessness and an eye not so are tired.

No laptop I use a desktop and when I travel I take a Zotac Desktop Computer Atom X5-Z8350 which is a PC-Stick that I can plug into a tv or monitor with hdmi connection but I take an adapter so I can pug into d-sub as well. Mini wireless keyboard and mouse all fit in small outside pocket of my carry on size bag.

Inbox me on where to get such a thing:) sounds awesome

What kind of laptop do you use for poker?

My laptop is a 2nd Generation intel i5 (2430-m - dual core at 2.4ghz with automatic turbo boost to 3.0Ghz), 8GB Ram (i dont remember which generation of ddr(2 or 3)
i choose this specifications because the main use of my laptop were to make the college and freelance works in autocad/revit/mathematica/strap and similar softwares.
I paid about 400USD in jan/2012 when i broke for the 2nd time the HD from my old notebook.

Generally I play on a large desktop. I find it better than playing on the phone because you can use the labels and you can also use the default bet sizes on pokerstars. You can also see all of your tables at once, which is better than what you have you do on a phone where you tap from table to table. I don't think I could ever play as well if I were trying to play 4+ tables on my phone.
