im not sure which position u are at. u said u are on the button, yet u said the button raised to 2400.

anyway, assuming u dont have money invested in the pot yet, your best move is to fold. with players behind u, and with 4800 chips, the button will have to call u relating to the pot odds, and at best, u are up against 2 overcards, meanin a flip. worst case, up against a bigger wired pair.

why risk your chances of makin the money? wait for a better spot.

With 8 big blinds, there might not be a better spot than this. You can't flat call really here, even if you decide to shove any flop you'll get called if the button has anything at all. I'd like to know the stacks of the others in the hand, but if you shove, I'd bet you're only getting called by the button, then just hope you're in a coinflip.

how many hands before the bubble? 1- 5- 10-50?
- i would fold - if youre in the blinds you have at least 20 chances to see a better hand

i would fold them 4's faster then 23 off, well maybe not that fast but it's a no brainer to me to fold for your tournament life if you are NOT first to act.

I don't mean first to act but first into the pot

Fatman is correct........fold faster than a rusty lawn chair, if you'd had no callers then an all in to steal the blinds could be in order.

How many players are there left? What is your chip count rank? Do you want to win or just make some money?
If you want just to make money, fold. Almost definitely you are against at least 2 overcards, and face a decent chance to be out. On the other hand, you don't have much time until you blind out, so if there are say 10 paid places, you probably won't make into the money without a move, and now you have something.

well lets see best case scenario your pretty much a coin flip with the button who has atleast 2 overs (not guarenteed but 9 times out of 10) but if all the callers fold to you and u dont believe he has an over pair your getting around the right odds to call.

The guy who raised, has he been playing tight or lose? For that matter the whole tabel, same question. If it is a really tight table and someone bets big they probably got a hand. But if this guys has been takeing advantage of the tight table you might get lucky and grab some chips off him.
But most the time I would fold it. (I get bubbled out alot too, so maybe ya dont want to listen to me :) )
