I find myself over anxious in sit&gos and the prize pools are very low considering youre buy in.I am more patient in a multi table buy in,and seem to do alot better in these.I am wondering what the majority favors?
The way i think about it is let other pay for the prizepool. Join big tournaments your percentage of the buyin is small but you can win so many other buyins
MTTs are MUCH easier to get into the money. You can pretty much win 1 all-in and then sitout the rest of the way and you will usually get your buy-in back just from that but SnGs it's like top 3 paid?
I multitable sngs and maintain a decent ROI in them. I do play MTT's, and have a big cash once in a while, but I really don't have 5-6 hours of straight computer time on my hands.
SnG's also have a different dynamic, and you have to play them differently than a MTT. Once you understand ICM and such, they become much easier to cash in. I grind out a steady profit in SnGs, and look at MTT's as a chance to cash big.
If you get good at SNG's then you can get in the money on a regular basis and this can keep your bankroll afloat. I then use these profits to play the MTT's which of course have a higher variance with regards to cashing.

I've had trouble in MTT's, but i do pretty well in SnG's. maybe i should try out MTT's a little more and see how i like them, but for now i like SnG's better
I didn't vote because I really dont have a preference, I enjoy playing both.
I play 1 table 6max SnGs when I don't feel like sitting for 3+hrs, MTTs when I have time to kill and cash tables when its close to bedtime.
But if I had to choose, I would have to say MTTs, so I have decided to vote MTTs which is what I play the most on my days off.
I play almost exclusively SNGs with the occasional MTT.
What I don't like about MTTs is mainly the long time it takes to play them. It's no fun to sit there for hours and hours, just to bubble out or barely make it into the money, winning a small amount.
To cash decently you have to make it at least to the final table, and that takes: time and a fair amount of luck.
Not cashing properly for dozens of tournaments, just to take in one fat win at some point isn't anywhere near as compelling to me as playing SNGs and cashing on a much more frequent and consistent basis.
