I recently downloaded the program. i am able to only get part of it working. I can't figure out how to get a database started, to see my win/lose or anything. the onl thing i can get to work is the hand rankings, pot odds and so forth. which isn't really what i want... thx

The program seems to have alot of features that could be usefull if i could get it to work. Possibly point out my many weak spots in my game. I've lost more than my fair share of money trying to learn the game. I just now started to read some books on the game But often find my-self putting the book down to play poker. Thought if i hd a program i could use to track my hand history , wins, loses, and so fourth i would have something to better understand my play and make adjustments. Thx

I would schedule time daily or weekly to do poker related things that aren't poker playing.

You gotta treat it like school. Go to class; read; study; etc. Set some time aside to play. Set some time aside to read your books. Set some time aside to analyze your charts and databases.

Most important- set some time aside for activities that aren't poker related. Relaxation, breaks, etc.
