7 Stud variant where pots are split between the best high, the best low, highest spade in the hole and lowest diamond in the hole.
These were favored at the invitation only games I played in the mid-1980s: 10/20 limit.
Jacks and Back:
Five card draw where the opener has to have at least a pair of jacks. If no one opens, then the game becomes ace to five lowball draw.
for the larcenous: This is a 5 Stud Hi/Lo game with a declaration and a replace on the end. After the first five cards are out, you can replace one or stand pat. Then there's a simultaneous declare as to which way you're going: high, low, or both ways. Then a final round of betting. This gives the dealer a tremendous positional advantage. If you're last, you can almost play ATC and at least escape.
If you're a real thief, play it pot limit.
