All I have to say is my top three poker movies are "Rounders, Rounders and Rounders.. Who wants to argue!! LOL

never watched anyone of those, ill start tonight with rounders, i like mate deamon i think its gonna be a good one, ill post my opinion when i finish it

That's what I was thinking as soon as I watched it. I seen it for the first time about a month ago. It was OK but as you said could of been a lot better.

Absolutely fantastic documentary. Yous can get it on netflix. But honestly would highly recommend a watch.

Without a doubt my favorite is Rounders, I would like to see Stu's and one that premiered this year molly bloom

"Bet,Raise,Fold" I really liked, I advise everyone to see, in this film it will be mostly about online poker

I have never seen Deal Or high Roller but i am going to look them up tonight. Thanks.

Rounders all the way! Great story. Pure hustle. Also an incredible actor in Matt Damon. But also Deal had a lot of potential but it didnt live up to my expectations.

I forget the exact name, but the movie about Stu Unger was great! It has an actor from the Sopranos that plays Stu Unger. You can google it.

I have watched this past weeks:

Lucky you - It was boring, not really well done, some mistakes on the concepts of the game, undefined situations with things that happen. Didn't like it overall.

High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story - Fall asleep 3 times.

Rounders - Nice movie, but they miss a lot and the end I didn't like at all, movie goes too slow. While the idea is good, I don't think it was well executed.

Most movies about the world of poker don’t do a good job of depicting the grind, or the high variance and huge number of hands or tournaments that's usually required to be successful. The movies make it seem like good players can use some kind of magical skill to read minds or control the position of the cards in the deck. Having said that, I did enjoy Molly’s Game and The Grand.
