Why do you play Poker? What is your biggest motivation when you enter to play (as well as seek to win)?

Probably the thing I like the most in poker is reading my opponents' minds and trying to predict what their cards are.

To be able to improve day by day in order to improve my weaknesses and thus be able to add a large amount of money some day to my bank. I enjoy playing it a lot although sometimes I get mad by bad beats ahahah

First of all, my motivation it's winning money.
Secondly, it is enjoyment for the game.
And thirdly, this is a good exercise for the brain.

Definitely money, no doubt about it. Poker represents freedom and keeps my dream alive that someday I wouldn't have to have a day job anymore. That dream motivates me to study to become better and better so I could earn my living just by playing. I am a realist and I know that it might never happen for me but at least I try and enjoy the ride along the way. It's the best feeling to look back and see that I have already gotten far from where I started That motivates me more than ever and of course the root of all that is money.

i love poker itself in particular NLHE !! its almost at an addiction level, if my laptop is on then cards are being dealt! granted i play small stakes 5/10 cent blinds occasionally more but the thrill of winning or more so calling a bluff on a big pot is superb it cant be denied , i don't mind breaking even but if i can double up the excitement is superb. freerolls are a big inspiration also as i plan my evening around them.chrrts MF888

Motivation for me is always money however there are lots of time I get burned out. If I’m not having fun playing I stop. Playing when I’m not enjoying always leads to me putting myself in stupid spots and generally playing -ev

My motivation in poker in the first place is to earn money and be independent from anyone else...not to go every day to work and work there for his uncle.

Personally, I play as it is a good way to spend time. In doing so, I get an irreplaceable experience. It is good that thanks to the organizers there is a large selection of freerolls or games with a minimum buy-in.

The mental challenge is fun, exiting. If it brings money, much better; but 0 money is acceptable (still sufficient fun).

I am a student, you know very hard in your student years with money - I motivate myself by the fact that if I do not win, I will have little money (while I'm studying, I get a specialty) - this is what pushes me forward and motivates!

I like to play poker, for me the main motivation, to play and win money in poker on any games or in tournaments or in the cash game and get a good profit in the bankroll and improve your skills in the game!

my motivation is to try to become a professional, because I am unemployed and this difficult job, and because I like poker so much and know that I have the chance to live it, it motivates me a lot

It's exciting, and allows me to challenge myself to always improve . Plus what better motivator than cash? Winning money is awesome. Imagine, we are getting paid for doing something we love. That my friend, is a dream come true.
