After this coming weekend's games, I am taking a month break.
I want to use this time to read my first poker book in preparation for the live games we are going to play during Brewfest.

Which book should I read? I hope to get one from the library..... and given that I only have a month....av. reading time 1-2 hrs. a day.

Btw..... 39 days till Brewfest!!!!

Freak needs book suggestions. He's looking for NLHE cash game help and some help with odds & probabilities. I told him "NLHE Theory & Practice" might work.

Any other suggestions out there?

I am in the middle of reading that one right now (compliments of Nick). It talks about things that i never even knew existed and opened my eyes to some advanced plays that are really good to know.

He is really math heavy and makes you think hard about what you just read. This could take you two days to read but things will be going through your head for the next month and then you need to read it again. It would be good time to read it since you don't have alot of other things to do so the ideas can sink in. I have had to read some sections 3 times to make sure I got it before I move on because of all of lifes distractions.
