Live games - house rules

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where I can find a resource for the house rules of a live hold em table?

I know that cash poker rules are not as specific as tournament, but there must be something that gives a fairly comprehensive need to know.

Or alternatively, what rules or situations do you come across that generally cause the most problems where it would be wise for us to be pretty sure on what the rulings would be?

I`m not sure where you can find the "Rules List" for cash games but it`s a gret question. This has been the cause of many arguments and fights over the years.

Dant, make sure you go over the rules before it starts. That way no one has room to complain about not knowing. Get em printed and post em after verbally reviewing them. When I started doing this, it helped my game run so much more smooth. Plus if you're playin with guys who don't really know whats what, it helps them for their future playing. etc.

thanks stu, this is actually a table being set up in a casino. poker is still quite "raw" in trinidad, particularly when it comes to house rules, so I am trying to make sure the guy running the table has a tight set in order to govern the players.
