Thanks pedroman. Is it primarily a NL holdem book or does it cover other poker variations?

AlienGenius is probably our resident poker book king - you might want to see what he recommends.

There are some book reviews in the articles section of the forum, one of them reviews Supersystem 2, check it out.

Daks is right.

I wonder if we should ask the mods about stickying that thread and letting people add opinions to it?

How much value would this really be, tbh? AG's post is really just a laundry list of books he bought, many of which he hasn't even read (by his own admission). So I guess that makes him the king of book purchases. :) I personally don't see the value in making it a sticky thread as it is primarily just a list and you can get that and buyer opinions by searching the major online bookstores for "poker".

We do also have book reviews in the Articles section, so if anyone really wants to post opinions on a particular book, why not write an article, get input on it, and have Nick post it.

Thanks for the info. i actually saw the SS2 review in the articles section after i posted the above question. i also did a site search on poker books and Alien Genius. found alot of stuff that helped including some recommendations by AG. Went on to amazon and spent another $100 or so.
i think the idea about submitting reviews of Poker books to nick and the other mods is a good idea.

Thanks again your comments are much appreciated.
