This could be very interesting, I was wondering how many BB's players are willing to loose sometimes even when they already know their hand is bad just to see other player cards?
if i was sure i was no good and could not beat even a bluff, then i would not ever look. i would not even care what they had . it would most likely mean that i missed a draw and would simply move on to the next hand
I ment, maybe you want to see what your opponent have so you get a better picture how he plays and what is his card range. I believe that worth some small number of chips sometimes, especialy on tournaments.
I agree nothing in tournament play is worth me losing chips.
I can generally feel a player out and watch other hands they have played to show down to get a general idea of hand ranges.
If I know i'm beat I am not gonna put any other amount of chips in the pot except fpr 0 perent..
If I think I am ahead and in a winning hand I will put whatever it takes in the middle.
Assuming you know you're behind? 10% seems about right. Maybe a little more against certain opponents who I think might be playing me. Never in a tournament.
I have occasionally done this in a tournament, but immediately realize that i shouldn't, especially when i know i'm just throwing good money after bad.
If the player is tight and you don't got a hand it is very stupid call.
But if you notice this player plays 80% of the flops or something crazy a 2nd pair call with maybe 10% of your stack or lower isn't crazy and allin call likely a crazy call.
I love these types of loose callers 2nd pair usually is gold but if u bet high early they will usually fold or go allin if they have top pair.
You know, I am talking about situations on long blinds time tournament, when blinds are very small, first few levels. I really think it's ok to do that if you have 3k of chips and blind sre 10/20.
