I think I have a pretty good understanding of calculating
odds. Can someone explain how the rule of 4 and 2 works exactly.
I count how many outs i have, just like in the video. Then compare that number to how many cards are left that are unknown. So for his example, You have 12 outs, theres 47 other cards that can come off. 12:47 in a simpilar form is roughly 1:4, or 25% of the time I will catch in out.
In the video he says you mulitply your outs by 4. 12x4 = 48, thats almost 50%.
I'm lost. If that works, I would just like to know how it mathametically works and where he got 4 from. And why I am doing my math wrong.
