I was just playing on bodog some Omaha hi 5/10c table and made over $10. I had $2.50 from a freeroll and now have over $13, i've played one $2.20 single table SNG and half the table was sitting out. Can someone let me know how the 45ppl $1.20 SNG's are on bodog? I'm thinking of playing another Omaha 5/10c table and see if I can get to $20, I would play cheaper tables but this is their minimum. :D

i love omaha. It's so easy to make money. But it's pretty easy to loose money on it too (unless u got the discipline to fold straights on draw heavy boards).

Go play on FT os stars? they have cheap PLO.

I also enjoy playing Omaha as much as you do, i'm not sure if I always fold straights or flush draws on heavy boards. I might fold str8 draws a lot more often than I fold nut flushes. :D

On pokerstars I did pretty well on Omaha, i'm guessing I made about $20 on the 1/2c tables in one week. I got $1 from a freeroll there and got it up to $50, most of it was from playing SNG's and Omaha 1/2c tables. I lost it all when I decided to play in a 25/50c hold em table. I regret doing that but I was running so well I thought I was unstoppable, :D I guess it can happen to anyone.

The beginner Sit-N-Gos on Bodog are pretty stupid to play if you are confident about your poker game at a low level though, because in their beginner tournaments, 50% pays out, which is nice for the person who doesn't think that they are good enough to win, but for someone who can expect to win, it sucks because you will be getting $4 less than you would at the same limit with it not being a beginner table(ie. only 3 people get paid instead of 5). I would stick to the regular SNGs if that's been what has worked for you so far.

Well you're in the right place to learn how to play it. Hi never played Omaha ;)

Well you're in the right place to learn how to play it. Head over to the Learning Poker Section and you'll be able to find information on it. I personally think it is the game that will take over Hold'em.

I agree that you should play in the beginner SnG's. With 50% cashing (40% making money) it will be nearly impossible to lose your money. Once you get a bankroll going, make the switch to regular SnG's. Also they have a few $1 MTT that have pretty good payouts. I would not do the $1.20 3 or 5 table SnG's. Long play because half the field sits out, and the payout is not very good IMO. GL
