Any 3 Card Poker Players Here?

My daily poker game is a variant where 3 cards are dealt to each player then 5 community cards are dealt...with the best 5 card combination with the board wins....for example with I held Ac JD Jh in my hands and the community cards came: Ad Jc 5s 6d 7h....the I would hold a full house of jacks full of aces....and if villain had 8a 9c 2s, he would make a straight with his 89 connector using the 5 6 7 on the board....quite an interesting poker game....anyone else plays this poker?

This poker does not make sense. The villain's hand becomes completely unreadable. Always the one who will be better off getting cards will win.

That kind of sounds like pineapple to me. My local room spreads a game called crazy pineapple where you discard 1 of your 3 cards after the flop (if I remember correctly) only played it once.
