I used to bet for information there's even a post at CC where I mentioned it and got some good advice. I only bet for value,
bluff or dead money (which is a bit of both). The information is in the villain's response.
A fish will call if he has a card higher than the highest card in the flop or a pair or a draw, you are ahead usually although they tend to slowplay big hands. So you'll win some and loose some with them.
A aggro fish will raise you and raise you and raise you again until you get all his stash, not information though, just his stash most of the time but who cares about information when you can get his stash, right?
A regular will shove or fold. You get a lot of information but not that much value. You won't be getting value from regulars usually anyway.
I have a hand to review that is pretty much what you showed here, but TT instead of QQ. When I review it I'll post it here. If the board isn't scary I'll raise. My next action depends on the information I get.
