You think I could of called??

I can't see them ever calling with worse to a reraise on the river... and the J hits their range big time, but so does pocket 6s even A6. I think it was just a case of position coming into play here, on a side note what do you use to replay the text form of the hand?

It depends how loose ur opponents are, but the 4 card straight always makes any call tough... So many hands that can beat u in the straight form, but I would say the best move there would of prolly been checking the turn letting them bet and than shove hoping they weren't calling the flop on a gutshot or with 76... Also the majority of the time u make a call on the river like that your gonna lose and if you bet the river u win the hand unless somebody tries to bluff you..

Also one more thing u could of tried in this situation since u were the initial raiser and nobody reraised... Is after u checked the river and player 8 checks, 9 bets u could of tried a reraise to make 99 think u had(if u could afford to lose more on this hand) pocket jjs because if 8 had jjs he would of bet most likely

That was a horribe board for your KK, not only were you against sets, you could of also been against a straight. I think in the long run you made a gf, it does depend on your opponents and they do seem tight with the stats showing, especially player 9 as we have other 100 hands on him. He could of had JJ there.

Something is wrong here. Are you guys seeing the same OP that I am?

Never ever a fold.

I'd probably hate myself for not raising but a river call is probably the best way to go.

I must admit I would possibly call the river bet. It is just a sick board repping a straight. Not worried about the set vs the set as we are ahead here. I would call here crossing my fingers that I am not against JJ. I have lost a few sets of kings on a straight board, I suppose it isn't the result that matters but if you played the hand correctly and you will only know if you plaued correctly.

I'd be more afraid of JQ than JJ but I have a tendancy to ignore specific combos that have me beat. There are way more hands than those that will call the flop and turn bets that the river doesn't help.

I'm not a cash game player but I'm disregarding all 6 hands, except maybe 66 after the flop. TJ is a hand I should have considered but there are still a lot more combos that you have beat.

Btw I hate folding on the river obv.:)

Trust me I hated folding, i think position is everything here, he knows i dont have the straight or id of bet, so would the other guy, so hes gonna think a set is best here, i would... i probably still would of checked behind in case someone planned on check raising with the nuts

funny hand, also very unlikely,

hero could fold, or call or ...

66? A6? no way after flop both hands were folded,

mr. van hoof finished third in the wsop main event, remaining 2 tables he paid late position with T6 against one villain holding AA, the flop went 987 and van hoof doubled his stack,

so T6, 96, 86, or even 76 could be hands that could survive the flop K98 and after the turn K987, although those hands are very unlikely, once they hit the low straight all of them would check!

what about QJ or JJ? no chance they make it through the river, not with a king on board and 3 players paying flop and turn,

JT? the fearest hand here with a straight draw from the flop, but once he hit the straight is allin, isn´t it?

second villain paid, holding what? a 6? I only pay if i have a 6 but if i have a jack i go allin,

first villain instead, decided to bet small after all checks the river, again if i finally completed my straight i need to put my villains pay much because otherwise long term my implied odds are reduced to a small amount and paying with a draw will become negative

but again why is the bet for if you already hold a set? the bet looks like a bluff, and actually it´s so terrible bad (with this hand you have enough to win if nobody has the straight so you better keep your money save)

but what would happen if somebody fires the river and goes allin? check and fire

P.S. this hand made me think for a while, a lot of things involved therefore very tough call, probably i would fold too because i would be so focused on my top set and not how the hand was developed

By the time the river card was revealed the board was very wet. Someone could have easily had a straight draw. The pot does seem small though so I may have called.
