Normally, I buy in the max. One time, just for kicks, I tried a low buy in at an unfamiliar table where nobody knew me. When I went into the game, I was immediately the target of the big stack, which was also my intention.
<My cards = AcKc
1/2 blinds
PreFlop:
My raise = $12, a re-raise from big stack of $8
he calls
Flop= AsKs6c
I fire out all in (about $60)
He calls- he has 3s4s
turn gives him flush, no luck for me on a full boat
Now, he even apologized for the bad play on his part pre flop, a good sport to say the least.
My question is, if you were in his shoes, would you have made a re-raise call with that hand? He had about $900 sitting, I had around $75 or $80.
I think even if I had $900 there, I probably would have folded to a re-raise with a 3s4s.
