Hi CC
I'm looking to sign up to a new poker site or two and I was hoping to gather some opinions and a bit of clarity on some issues or concerns. I'm thinking of having a main one that I can play on laptop, but I was also hoping to be able to have one I can play via my lumia windows phone.
I've played for over a decade and did quite well when I first started, playing cash games. But after the site I used stopped US players, I found the profits dried up and since then only dip into it every now and then as a hobby, but mainly tournaments.
After a busy few years, I have a bit more time on my hands and have started enjoying playing again. However I'm still with the same poker site I first signed up to(Microgaming), but nowadays its got less players, less tournaments, smaller prizes.
I'd looked into joining various sites and am finding the whole situation with regulations and changes rather confusing. I found that Carbon Poker can be played on mobile, but have subsequently found that they don't allow UK players for whatever reason.
I was expecting I might be able to find a busier site for my main account, possibly with US players, but it seems like any site with US players, could be shut down or have issues due to legislation. I'm looking to find a poker site to use long term and so I don't want to sign up to one that's going to have issues a few months down the line.
I'm currently leaning towards pokerstars for my main account, although would be interested if there was one with US players. I don't know if there is one I can play via mobile. But any help would be very much appreciated.
