Uh Oh ! Chico - BOL n SportsBet

Bet-on-line and Sportsbetting have seemed to gain much volume since the "Plandemic" over 6 months ago. I wasn't paying very close attention but it seemed like they were doing well.

Now, the site went down, I guess it is 24 hours, and I have heard some nervous "tweets", people have large amounts of money on the sites and if the worst comes to pass, what can players in the U.S. do except weep for their loss.

I really hope the site comes back with updated stuff, and all is well. I actually like BOL, but I just wanted to make a thread showing how ridiculous it is to live in a country that was built on individual freedom, BUT we have to "sneakily" play online poker in some "GRAY" area. The main reason for this is an effort from an extremely wealthy casino industry, the citizens are all for legalized online poker. Makes me shake my head, how the greedy and powerful can literally make laws to suit themselves.

The BOL rep posted on 2+2 forums today, but they didn't say very much at all.

This is what the rep (2+2 username: BetOnline Mike) typed today at 4:47am east coast US time:

P.S. This is why I do not deposit on poker sites, Black Friday ruined everything for us Americans, its a tragedy and exposes the utter hypocrisy of America calling itself "the land of the free". Yeah right. Tell me another funny joke.

P.P.S. But this is why I'm here posting on Cards Chat, because I still love poker and still want to play... and since I don't deposit my own money, the best way to build a bankroll on the sites is by playing freerolls. It also makes poker into an epic challenge, trying to go from no money at all to infinite money. I find that WAY more exciting and interesting than just depositing my own money, and best of all, I am risking NOTHING. If the US Government doesn't want my tax revenue from my poker winnings, that's their problem not mine.

At this time, still unable to log in. The error message now reads:

They have been attacked twice in last 2 weeks. I got an email about thursday cyber attack on bol n sb. it also happened on last sat during 11 bucks 50 seats gtd into 150k game. They didnt refund our money even though we blinded out in that sattie. I still have close to 400 bucks in both clients

same here. we can expect that there is no freeroll today again it looks like. i hope they can fix this and im sure our money is safe. im pretty sure tomorrow there is also no tournament since issues like this take some time. we will see.

I like both of these sites. I believe that these are reliable sites with an excellent reputation and good potential. In fact, it is very unfortunate that they have such problems. I hope that in the near future they will be able to fully resume work.

Yes 4 days now since Thursday the Chico network is still down not looking good hopefully it is back up soon.

Play the freezeouts that are running right now!!!

They are the only MTTs running and they are awesome!

They play like a hyper turbo, and most people play them wrong!


I just won a $2 freezeout for $56.

I took 3rd in a $2 last night as well. That's three, top 3 finishes in a row!!!

Bol is back up but has very limited action so far as tournaments before the shut down. They are slowly adding the higher stakes tourneys but not a lot of plo.

The freezeouts are gone, they were fun while they lasted.

The MTT schedule is about 80% back to normal from what I can tell. The micro to mid level games are back as well as the nightly $50 30K GTD.
