Pokerstars and Full Tilt Issues Jan 24?

Is anyone else having problems getting in to pokerstars today ?

I can't load the client or the website - it looks like a DoS attack (not saying it is, just that's what one looks like) (Network guy here).

No problems here either.

All normally works, but sometimes the connection is not stable, although all is well with internet.

Definitely a problem at PS, I can't log in from the client or access the website.

I wonder if the server upgrade on Wednesday is to blame, they posted that some users couldn't log in.

I have this problem once i couldn't connect to the server. Send message to support and another day everything was fine. (couldn't connect at 22:00 and another day morning it's work) So that could happens but that was probably few hour.

Can't get on to Full Tilt or Pokerstars...

I'm trying to get on via my home network.

I can't get on to either the sites (www.) or the card rooms :/

Any ideas guys?

i am in Scotland, I can't get www or the client of Pokerstars. I don't use Full Tilt, but I can't reach their website either. It's been like this most of the day, sometimes it comes back.

Yes, BT

I think BT is the problem.

From a command prompt, if you type the following it traces the path to Pokerstars to the point it gets lost:

Tracert pokerstars.com

You can also do pathping pokerstars.com for a more detailed report.

All of mine are getting lost in BT's network.

I'm not very technical so what does that mean

Don't worry about it, techy users can try it if they have issues, it means for us though that BT, as our ISP, are unable to find the Pokertars servers so our traffic is just getting lost in BT's cloud. It's a misconfiguration somewhere, these things should self heal but clearly we are in some kind of black hole.

We have no option but to wait. There is no point in contacting BT support, you might as well go and ask a neighbour's kid.

It comes and goes, mine just came up too.

I had a problem with logging in on PS a few nights ago but FTP was fine, which is odd when I have issues with PS I always have issues with FTP.

Today tho everything is fine, so it must be BT is the problem. I have landline with BT and broadband with VM I never liked broadband with BT as I find them incompetent.

Well, I've lost it all again :'(

I am gonna contact BT support, wish me luck…

If any other BT user is OK or is having problems please post, so I have some info to go on.
