I recently had the good fortune of playing in the Party Poker Monster series Micro main event and last weekend's title fight. Both tournaments had the same structure - three day 1's (two normal, one turbo) and day 2 on Tuesday.
I was lucky enough to make the money in both tournaments, but noticed that because day 2 was a combination of the qualifiers from the first three days, the money went to almost everyone. I think 90%+ made the money in both day 2's
Here's the oddity - we didn't go hand for hand at the money bubble.
I find this wildly bizarre especially with this being Party's biggest tournament of the week that the bubble didn't go hand for hand.
Has anyone cashed a normal tournament on Party (no day 2's) and not gone hand for hand?
No, ever. Really curious. You sure that was not just a coincidence like 2 or 3 people busted same time just before the hand for hand would begin ?

No I'm positive. Usually when hand for hand happens the tables stop, so the only way we would have stopped for hand for hand is:
1) My table was last to act in both tournaments
2) Hand for hand lasted only 1 hand
I think I even remember seeing the 312th place finisher win money while our hand was in progress too...so that would mean that two people busted on the same hand, and my table was last to act...but wouldn't the software have to wait for our hand to finish before awarding prize money?
