These are limited

There are limits to what can legally be played in the US. Since I am not in a region that allows it, ACR is my only choice. It is okay, but I'd rather not deposit since I've had bad experiences with that. Instead I'll have to rely on the freerolls, which are awful. I miss the old days where you could play on any site.
My favorite site was bugsysclub? The play was soft and it was loose with its guarantees. Probably why it went under.

Yeah I’m also not in NJ or PA so I have to use ACR. I think the platform is reliable for the most part and I’ve never deposited anything. There’s plenty of volume and free rolls which I enjoy. BetOnline is alright but not as much free rolls.

Americas Cardroom and BetOnline appear to be the most popular and safest for those not located in states with state-specific options. Global Poker has some popularity too since it's legal through their "Sweeps Cash" method. I personally only stick with ACR and while no poker room is perfect, I accept it for what it is and appreciate the action and availability on there for what interests me as an online poker player.

I've played a variety of poker sites:

*) Carbon -- Played there from 2015 -- 2018. Seems this site had problems attracting new blood. Left when no one wanted to play with me anymore.

*) ignition -- Was a really good site until they screwed up their client soft. Went from good to fair to fuggly to unusable.

*) Seals With Clubs -- Only draw back to this site is playing with Bitcoin directly, making you gamble twice: once on your cards and again with the value of Bitcoin itself.

*) Bet Online -- Good site, prompt customer service, fast on deposits and withdrawals (Bitcoin) Loads of fish. Maybe one possible drawback is no games under 10NL

I tried global poker and never could figure it out, and am not a fan of sweeps cash, whatever that was. At least with ACR they theoretically would give you the money when you won enough.

While I've personally never spent money on Global Poker, Sweeps Cash is there way about playing for real money stakes without "playing with real money." To get Sweeps Cash, you buy a package of play chips with real money. When you buy one of the play chips package, it comes with Sweeps Cash as a "bonus" where you can play on their Sweeps Cash version of the site. When you want to cash out your Sweeps Cash, that is where you can receive real money in return. A little more complicated than using something like ACR, but I've heard good things about actually get paid out and it's one way of not having to worry about cryptocurrency if it's not your thing.
