Hey all,
I've recently started playing at Lock Poker. I deposited a small amount (only $50) and have been playing micro stakes. I want to give it a try while I keep an eye on the US situation.
So far, it's not bad. The interface is not as sleak as FTP or PS, but if you take the time to look around, its fairly friendly.
The deposit method was tricky; I had to deposit using the "Pre-Paid Express" on their casino page (clicking on the tab) and then transfer the funds over to the poker side (sorry everyone...I don't remember the details). I know there are most likely easier ways to deposit (and to claim your bonus) but I didn't take the time to investigate as this is a "trial run" for me.
Has anyone withdrawn from this site with success? Can anyone offer their opinion on the matter?
Good to know there are alternatives...in all honesty, I hope the US actually starts to allow online poker sites within it's borders, even if it means we have to start giving them "their slice of the pie." It would be nice to not have to play in the grey areas.
Before you tell me to go to a B+M casino...I live in a rural village of Alaska. It is quite difficult for me to drive anywhere...I would have to fly. I'm about 400 miles off of the road system.
I am really looking forward to the summer I can go home and hit up the local poker room
Looking forward to hearing your opinions!
See you at the tables!
