does anyone agree with me that pokerstars has become 1 of the greediest online sites over the last six months.......
with all the changes ........................
ie...
it now takes so long to get the chests.......
if you look at the real deal jackpot ,it increases so slow.........and the incentive to deposit is now non existent..........
cant remember the last time they offered me a deposit bonus........
if it was not for CC i would have deleted pokerstars ...........
what are your thoughts..........?

I agree. I also do not delete this room just because I play there in the CC club.
Yesterday I was given $ 1 from a red chest, 1 ticket for a $ 5000 freeroll and 9 coins.

Everything is normal with the jackpot. He must grow. Anyway, someone will win it.

PokerStars began raising their net rake a few years ago, and sure enough it has boosted their bottom line. As consumers its natural to be price conscious and look for the cheaper alternative. However its not actually that black and white, since for some games PokerStars charge less rake than their competitors.

For people playing 2NL cash games for instance the rake is 3,5% on PokerStars but 6,25% on 888. So if this is your main game, as it is for many beginners, its definitely cheaper to play on Stars. If on the other hand you are an MTT player, then its cheaper to play on 888, and you get more rewards as well.

Same here, if it wasn't for the CC freeroll I would never play on Stars.

I think its not just the last 6 months. I remember seeing some youTube videos about Daniel Negreanu trying to justify Pokerstars raising the rake a few years ago.

Yes, I agree that the reward system of Pokerstars is really sh*t these days with the chests and no more boost every 8 hours. Call me old fashioned, but I liked the old FPP (points) system best, with the bronze-silver-gold status.


I did however recieve some personal deposit bonuses in the last months in via mail, like depositing minimum of $60 and getting a guaranteed cash reward of $15 minimum. There also was one during Easter, where you had to spin a wheel for a chance for bigger cash reward. Not sure how they select players for these deposits though.

You can't rely anymore on the rake of PS. That's why some grinders quit. If I had the current skill, and 2 years ago rakeback, that would have been a nice thing. They said that the rakeback decreased with 80%.

In my opinion, PokerStars is the best poker site in the world. The software always works great, unlike other sites. In addition, there is a very large selection of tournaments there, and it is obvious that this is a significant advantage. In addition, there are often interesting freerolls and good promotions.

I got another personal offer from Pokerstars by e-mail a few days back: If I deposit $60 or more, I get $10 cash and $5 worth of Spin&go tickets.

I think these offers are based on your personal playing history in the past weeks and the stake you played.

Used to get promos all the time for added bonuses if you deposited X amount. Seems none of them are doing much of that anymore. Except for 888, you can always get a daily Casino bonus, if you play the Casino. Thats my go to bonus for them, if they havent got a poker bonus happening. I guess the bottom line is more important than rewarding regular customers.
